[VACANCY – CANDIDATE LEGAL PRACTITIONER 2027]
Are you passionate about children’s rights, human rights, and social justice? Are you eager to contribute to meaningful legal work that advances children’s rights?
The Centre for Child Law, University of Pretoria, invites applications for a Candidate Legal Practitioner to join our team in 2027!
⚖️ Who should apply?
We are looking for a driven individual with an LLB degree, a demonstrated interest in children’s rights and public interest law, strong research and writing skills, and a commitment to social justice. An LLM and proficiency in additional South African official languages will be advantageous.
📌 Key areas of work include:
• Strategic litigation and legal research
• Drafting pleadings and legal opinions
• Advocacy and law reform
• Research and community engagement
• Contributing to policies and legislation
