ANNUAL REPORT 2023
The year 2023 marked the 25th Anniversary of the Centre for Child Law, celebrated on 4 December 2023.
Over the past 25 years, CCL has built a renowned reputation for advancing children’s best interests in law and practice, wherever children are involved. This year, the Centre focused on holding responsible duty bearers accountable for protecting and realising children’s rights. Additionally, it developed and implemented practical solutions to ensure the realisation of children’s constitutional rights.
The Centre engaged in various activities, including litigation, legislative and policy advocacy, institutional strengthening strategies and access to legal services. These efforts align with its mission and vision, ensuring children’s rights are upheld and protected.
