ANNUAL REPORT 2023
The year 2023 marked the 25th Anniversary of the Centre for Child Law and this was celebrated on 4 December 2023. Over the past 25 years, CCL has developed a renowned reputation for ensuring that children’s best interests are advanced in law and practice, wherever children are concerned. This year, the Centre focused on ensuring accountability of responsible duty bearers for protecting and realising children’s rights, developing and implementing practical solutions to ensure the realisation of children’s constitutional rights. The Centre engaged in litigation, legislative and policy advocacy, institutional strengthening strategies and access to legal services, aligning with its mission
and vision.
